Welcome to my straitjacket page. Yes, I know that it sounds "crazy," but I have an unrestrained interest in straitjackets. I have been collecting straitjackets (some people refer to them as straight jackets) for over 25 years. At the present time my collection includes ten various straitjackets. I prefer older, institutional straitjackets as oppossed to those newly created for the fetish/bondage market. I find straitjackets from the "bad old days" in our hospitals and institutions to be especially alluring for me. You remember, or you may have heard about, the days when the best medical care included the regular use of heavy physical restraints and seclusion -- before the healing arts became enlightened and began to rely on "chemical" straitjackets!
My present collection of straitjackets includes models from: "Humane Restraint," Posey, Northbound Leather, and several others. However, I am always on the look out for unique items to add to my collection.
